Rostrinucula

An unusual genus from China, with only 2 species, R. dependens and R. sinensis. Deciduous shrubs, somewhat reminiscent of buddleja, in foliage, but the stems somewhat arching, with pendulous flowers racemes of pink flowers, protected by silvery-white bracts, flowering well into the autumn. Best grown with protection from cold winds and in full sun.
