Gardens open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am-5pm
(Closed Sundays and Mondays except Bank holiday Mondays)
To visit the gardens all visitors either need a prebooked ticket or have a Friend of Beth Chatto's membership card.
Prebooked tickets are hourly time slots for entry to the garden only, this does not limit the length of time you are in the garden. Visit duration 3-4 Hours. Visitors must enter the garden during their selected hourly time slot. We are able to scan your QR code ticket direct from your mobile phone, there is no need to print out on paper.
If only visiting the Nursery, Garden Shop and Chatto's Tearoom, no prebooked tickets are needed.
Friends of the Garden / Friend of Beth Chatto's, do not need to prebook and can visit the garden anytime during our opening time. Double card members do not need to prebook tickets for their accompanying guest.
If you would like to become a Friends of Beth Chatto's, registration can be completed in the Visitors Information Centre and access to the garden straight after.
Free entry for NHS workers and Bluelight cardholders; you will need to prebook tickets and present your ID card on arrival. Subject to availability and time restrictions. (2pm onwards, Tuesday to Saturday).
Free entry for accompanying Carers Do not need to prebook, ticket can be arranged in Visitors Information Centre when visiting the garden.
Gardeners World 2 for 1 offer NOT valid from 1st May 2021 to 6th August 2021 Prebooking will be available for this from the 7th August 2021. Your Gardener's World 2 for 1 card will need to be shown on arrival.
RHS members free entry offer only valid through the month of October 2021. Prebooking will be available for this from the 1st October 2021. Your RHS membership card will need to be shown on arrival. Dates for next year to be confirmed.
Sorry no dogs (except medical assistance dogs)
No eating in the gardens. Picnics are permitted in the designated picnic area in the adjacent field to the car park.
No mobility equipment is available onsite, please bring anything needed with you.
Please do not visit if it means breaking the Lockdown rules as set out by the Government
Facemask do not need to be worn in the gardens, but must be worn in all indoor areas.
Please note we are operating with card payments onsite only, sorry no cash.
