Eriogonum

The wild buckwheats are a prolific genus native throughout Western North America south to Mexico. Evergreen flowering shrubs, often with narrow silvery, woolly foliage and clusters of small flowers, which can last for months. Good for drier situations, but may need careful siting to get through our wet winters.
