Eccremocarpus

Although there are three species of these evergreen climbers, all native to South America, only one is readily available in the UK, E. scaber. Flowers are tubular, in a range of yellow, orange, pink and red colours, or  a mix. Vigorous climbers, with tendrils, foliage neat, reminiscent of Clematis, but smaller in its parts. Good for a warm wall, fence or growing through a shrub or small tree.

In their native South America, Eccremocarpus are pollinated almost exclusively by hummingbirds, with occasional flower visits (probably not leading to pollination) by large bumblebees and butterflies. The latter two groups could conceivably use the flowers in this county, while its growth as a vine provides shelter for birds.
