Cotanthemis

The bigeneric hybrid × Cotanthemis are crosses of two different genera Cota and Anthemis, found in France and Germany. Foliage can be attractively finely cut and aromatic. Generally grow in full sun and in a well-drained soil.

As with anthemis and cota these produce abundant nectar and pollen in the disc-flowers at the centre of the daisy-like flowerhead. These attract and are pollinated by many insects with hoverflies being especially well represented. Having a long flowering-period they can form a valuable component to any wildlife garden.

Some plants were previously known as Anthemis.
