Cryptotaenia

A member of the Apiaceae family, with typically umbels of small white flowers: Herbaceous. Some ha species having edible stems and leaves.

As with all umbellifers, the heads of tiny flowers provide a resource of nectar and pollen for a range of insects, however in this genus the umbels are rather insignificant which limits its value to garden wildlife.
