Cryptotaenia japonica f. atropurpurea

Makes a handsome foliage plant. Trifoliate leaves with pointed leaflets are purple as the leaves of beetroot. Tip sprays of tiny pink flowers are insignificant. A hardy form of Japanese parsley, served raw in salads.
