Indigofera

Excellent medium to large shrubs for the garden. Pea-like flowers, typically pink to purple, over a long period from late spring often into autumn. Leaves pinnate, composed of elegant leaflets. Over 700 species worldwide, although largely absent from northern areas of North America, Asia and Europe. Usually full sun and preferring drier soils.
