Hi, Just wondering about succession planting; mentioned in your blog re evergreen & 'evergrey' - how did you achieve this for continuous interest? Also what about spacing & garden orientation if no planting plans used. Thanks

Hi Karena,
For year round interest we chose plants which have interesting foliage, provide us with good seedheads after flowering, and those which remain looking good through out winter.
When planting we consider the overall size of the plant when mature and plant to that spacing. That way we don't have to 'edit' as plants grow.
Thank you so much for sharing the plant list for this remarkable project. Would it be possible to see the planting plans as well? Even a few examples would be incredibly helpful!

Hi,
We didn't use planting plans here, instead laying out the plants allowing for their overall sizing.
