Large horse chestnut shaped leaves and a spikes of creamy-white flowers, which then transform to a zingy pinky-red. Probably a form of R. aesculifolia. A damp-loving plant with excellent foliage plant. The name Badenweiler derives after a town near Grafin von Zeppelin nursery, Germany, where Beth had strong links with the then owner, Helen von Stein.
