Polystichum neolobatum

Evergreen, similar to the Japanese tassel fern, but with darker, glossier foliage, harder to the touch. Each elegant pinnae tipped with a small prickle. Foliage stays almost unmarked for much of the year, retaining its youthful appearance. If needed cut the old foliage back during late winter, to allow new foliage to emerge cleanly. Tough & clump forming.
