A new salvia to us, from central Europe (from Austria to Romania). Large, textured foliage, scallop-edged forming a rosette. In summer, are upright spikes of large creamy-white flowers, similar to S. argentea. Worth trying on richer soils (but not waterlogged), for bigger basal foliage.
