A grand hardy plant, reminiscent of the large agapanthus customarily grown in conservatories, has over wintered here in well-drained soil for several years. Handsome, upstanding, strap-shaped leaves support tall stems, carrying large heads of cool, lilac-blue flowers. This plant is not to be confused with those we list under Agapanthus Headbourne hybrids. It is distinctly different; we propagate it by division.
