This burnet forms large mounds of melianthus-like dissected foliage. Upright flowering stems hold dark-red brooding buds, which open to produce catkin tails of white flowers.
Although we've received this plant as S. 'Frilly Green', sources list it as S. armena, the Armenian burnet from Turkey.
