One of the most impressive and elegant trees in the Water Garden. Raised up on the slope below Beth's house, this small to medium sized tree has branches clothed in light green needles, until autumn when they turn an extraordinary orange, before shedding and covering the ground below. Crops of green artichoke-like cones are produced in most seasons, sitting upright along the limbs and often persisting after the needles have dropped. Grown from seed collected in our garden.

Hi there, I see that the Pseudolarix amabilis comes in a 2L pot. May I please ask what is the size/height of the plant and how old is the seedling? Many thanks, P.
These are from 2024 and are currently 12"-18" tall
