Forming a substantial sub-shrub with extra large broad grey-felted leaves, this sage makes much needed contrast among the filigree foliage of artemisias and fennel. Has larger blue-purple flowers than the type. Growing here with the ferny foliage of Geranium malviflorum. Flowers and leaves edible.
