Vancouveria chrysantha

From thin, wandering underground rhizomes appear wiry stems carrying shield-shaped leaves edged and stained with reddish-brown. Above them in late spring, on hair-thin stems float little yellow flowers. For light soil, leafmould and part shade. Will tolerate drier spots, than other vancouveria species.
