Exotic, sultry looking perennial, with bamboo-like stems of deep purple becoming dark green. Open clusters of green to cream, narrow, bell shaped flowers followed by purple black berries. Old stems standing into winter.
These plants have been obtained from a reputable nursery as seedlings of 'Night Heron', with the owner commenting "I don't see much variation in these seedlings, look very much like 'Night Heron'. Of course some variation maybe possible.
