Boehmeria species ex Dixter

A superb foliage plant, suitable for shade, in most soils or part sun, in richer soils. Clump-forming, upright, with nettle-like leaves (not stinging, although its part of the same family), with narrow, white pipe-cleaner like flowers in autumn. Great as a plant on its own, but useful as part of a mixed border, where it will contrast to the more showy and colourful herbaceous elements.
