Sorbaria sorbifolia 'Sem'

Thicket-forming shrub with upright stems and a distinctive leaf colouring. In spring the foliage has hues of pink and red, mixed in with yellow and green. The leaves are greener in summer, but redden in autumn. Narrow panicles of small white flowers in summer. We grow ours in the woodland, but under very light shade.
