A broadly conical evergreen tree with glossy green leaves, with a contrasting downy tan covering on the undersides. Large showy cup-shaped creamy white flowers produced from late summer to early autumn. Good for wall training, but will make a superb fee standing tree. This form found in Exmouth, Devon in the 1760's.
