Dendroseris litoralis

An unusual exotic, with glossy evergreen cabbage-like leaves on a short trunk. Close to being extinct, as at one point it was down to its last few plants in its native Juan Fernández Islands (off the coast of Chile). Preferring a maritime-like climate, with cool nights and not thriving in much above 30c. We have a few of these unsual plants for sale. Keep in pots and best grown for its jungle-effect foliage. Also known Sonchus brassicifolius.
