Araujia sericifera

An evergreen climber, with twining stems containing simple, paired leaves and fragrant salver-shaped, white to pink flowers in the leaf axils, during late summer into autumn. Followed by large, inflated fruits containing silky-tufted seeds. The sticky pollen can temporarily trap visiting moths, hence the common name cruel plant.
