From N. India. This ia close relative of A. narcissiflora from Europe. It's valued for its chalk-white petals (not large) which are set off by steely-blue sepals and blue anthers. Prefers a good soil, a little shade and moisture. It would look good in a rock garden, or in a woodland with other choice perennials.
