An interesting South African salvia, compact in habit, with wrinkly green foliage. Flowering spikes of pink-lilac flowers through summer. Relatively untried with us, but coastal and city gardens it should be hardy, elsewhere a sheltered garden spot is needed, on a well-drained soil.
