A new shrubby phlomis for us, growing in our reservoir garden. In late spring through summer, showy whorls of orange and yellow flowers open up, the first of its kind in the genus phlomis. Evergreen, textured foliage, paler on the underside, upright in form and very suitable for a dry garden. Discovered in France at the nursery, Pepiniere de l'Armalette. A hybrid between P. leucophracta and P. lunariifolia.
