A small sub-shrubby, with aromatic dark green leaves and white to pink flowers in summer. Ornamental enough for a sun-loving, drought-tolerant border, but also excellent as a culinary herb. Trim frequently to promote new growth. Can be used to flavour meat dishes, marinades and stuffing.
