This burnet forms large mounds of melianthus-like dissected foliage. Upright flowering stems hold dark-red brooding buds, which open to produce catkin tails of white flowers.
We've received this plant as S. 'Frilly Green', but some sources list it as S. armena, the Armenian burnet from Turkey.
