Large rosettes of foliage, producing flushed stems carrying large, one metre high, heavily branched heads with scores of small yellow flowers during summer followed by an attractive seed head. Collected in China by Gothenburg Botanic Garden.

Is Patrinia dog friendly? She wouldn't eat it but would brush past it.
This is not known to be toxic to dogs, especially if only being brushed past it. Any plant material can cause mild gastrointestinal upset (vomiting, diarrhoea) if eaten in quantity.
