Our most sought after plant. This unique daffodil is usually in flower for Christmas Day, continuing to bloom through worst of weathers till March. Small, lemon-yellow perfectly formed daffodils with lightly frilled trumpets, a joy to pick with early snowdrops and leaves of Arum italicum subsp. marmoratum.
Found by Basil Leng, a friend of Cedric, in northern Spain, near Luarca. After Cedric's death, Beth Chatto asked Leng's permission to name it for him.
Plant in shade to protect from Narcissus Fly, whose grubs eat the bulbs. Harmful if eaten. Potential skin irritant.
