Tuberous perennial with palmately lobed leaves, divided into 8-20 narrow leaflets, each with an extended drip tip. Distinctive tubular, hooded spathes, striped white-cream and purple-brown. Within is the spadix where the small true flowers are clustered, followed by a spike of red berries.
Potted tubers are sent from May-June onwards (once rooted), each pot containing one large flowering size tuber (occasionally two smaller).
