A suckering shrub, suitable for a spot in dappled shade. In late summer, yellow, weigela-like flowers are produced, towards the tops of the shoots which are attractive to butterflies. Foliage often emerges with attractive bronzey tints. We let ours grow in our woodland garden, where it has a little more room to spread.
