A dramatic, late-flowering aster, upright, with pink flowers atop tall stems, emerging from a rosette of large, dark green leaves. Tolerant of a range of soils, but in a good retentive soil, in a sunny warm spot, should provide the best chance of full flowering. Very different in form and feel to many other asters.
