Will Clethra alnifolia grow in a pot?
Clethra alnifolia, commonly known as Summersweet, can be successfully grown in pots. Choose a pot that is at least 6" bigger than the rootball so it will allow the plant to grow for 2-3 years and ensure it has good drainage to prevent waterlogging. Place the pot in a place to protect it from intense afternoon sun.
