'Although a conservationist by profession, and an ecologist by training, everything I have done has been linked to my life-long passion for natural history. In 2009 I was lucky enough to receive the David Bellamy Award of the British Naturalists’ Association, recognising ‘a naturalist of distinction’. Now I have the time and opportunity to return to my roots as a naturalist, and to do what I do best – trying to enthuse others about the natural world.'

Young Propagators Society event at The Beth Chatto Gardens

Back in October, the Young Propagators Society held an event at the Beth Chatto Gardens. The speakers were Garden and Nursery Director David Ward, Head Gardener Asa Gregers-Warg and green roof and brown field expert John Little. The attendees also enjoyed a behind the scenes tour of the nursery and propagation areas.

Georgia Ward Dyer from the Young Propagators Society has written a detailed blog about the day including short video clips of David, Asa and John. Use the link below to read Georgia's blog.
