Introduced from Georgia by Roy Lancaster. Forms a low cushion plant, ideal for sunny or part-shady border edge, giving year round effect. Stems and young foliage tinted reddish-bronze, crowded with intense blue flowers for weeks in through spring and summer, continuing intermittently into autumn.
