Iris japonica 'Eco Easter'

The unusual iris has creeping rhizomes, rooting and sending up stems which have short fans of shining green leaves. Above them, thin branching stems carry dainty-looking, frilly, lavender-blue flowers,  highlighted by a dramatic yellow throat and adjacent purple  Needs a warm, sunny site to flower well. This selection reputedly has increased flowering and hardiness. Harmful if eaten.
