A bulbous perennial with narrow glaucous grey-green leaves. In spring racemes of narrowly bell-shaped, pendant brown purple flowers. Full sun and a well drained soil. Later flowering than both the species, Fritillaria persica and Fritillaria persica 'Senkoy'.
Potted bulbs are sent from October onwards (once rooted), each pot containing one large flowering size bulb.
