Erect stems clothed in aromatic leaves carry heads of lily-shaped flowers, soft mauve, veined purple. Curious, star-shaped seed pods are a bonus for dried flower arrangements. CAUTION: toxic to skin in sunlight.
This PURPLE flowered species was previously sold as Dictamnus albus var. purpureus. The WHITE flowered form is now sold as Dictamnus albus var. albus.
