Rising above the greys and silvers, slender, bare stems carry globular heads, the size of an orange, formed by tightly packed lilac-purple stars. They fade to straw-coloured perfectly shaped seed-heads.
Potted bulbs are sent from November onwards (once rooted), each pot containing one large flowering size bulb.
