We are delighted to announce the second Beth Chatto Symposium, Rewilding the Mind to be held on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd September 2022 at the University of Essex, Ivor Crewe Lecture Theatre.
Rewilding the Mind will examine the ethos of rewilding and its interface with horticulture, in urban and rural settings. Exploring ideas such as sonic rewilding and delving into the detail of ecological restoration, biodiversity net gain, afforestation, sustainable design and the reconnective and educational value of therapeutic projects.
With a diverse line-up of speakers and moderated discussion panels, the Beth Chatto Symposium aims to stimulate conversation and shared learning.

The Symposium will commence with registration and coffee from 8.15am on Thursday 1st September. Talks will start at 9am and the event will finish at 5pm both days.
Refreshments and lunch are included with your ticket.
Tickets include an exclusive Garden Party held at Beth Chatto's Gardens & Nursery, on the evening of Thursday 1st September. Transport to and from the university will be provided.
