Patrinia

Closely related to Valeriana, but with typically yellow or white flowers, in flattish heads. Over a rosette of lobed or divided foliage. We tend to grow them in open conditions, but some shade is acceptable

The flat-topped clusters of small flowers are very attractive to bees, hoverflies, butterflies and other insect visitors.
