Events, Sales and Marketing Executive
An exciting and brand new role is now available at the world renowned Beth Chatto Gardens in Elmstead Market, Colchester
One of the things that visitors have told us they enjoy about their visit, is meeting the people who work here. And we are looking to expand our friendly team with someone who will look for opportunities to tell people about all we do here, and attract them to the gardens.
The role will be a varied one: from organising wedding receptions and liaising with the whole team on logistical aspects of events, to helping keep the website updated, dealing with enquiries, and planning ways to let people know about what we do and can offer at the Gardens.
The ideal candidate
There is a lot of scope for development within the role and so we're looking for a self-starter and someone who has excellent customer service skills.
You will be a great communicator, highly organised and ready to work as part of a team.
You will be flexible, punctual and willing to see a project through to the end.
1+ years' event planning experience
1+ years' sales experience
Knowledge of the Gardens and an understanding of our principles
Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation
Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook-style email programs
Working experience of CMS
